Record number of logins via SURFfederatie

A new record was established within SURFfederatie on 17 October, when the number of logins hit 17,984. That represents a doubling of the average number of daily logins since the summer.

This increase in the number of logins is largely due to connection of the Google Apps and ProgressWWW services (Groningen University). SURFspot – the ICT webshop for the education sector – also accounts for a large number of logins.
