WHAT IS NETHERLIGHT?

The GLIF Open Lightpath Exchange in Amsterdam

NetherLight provides:

  • policy-free interconnection
  • between providers of long-distance and/or high-bandwidth services
  • and direct connections through these providers
  • to and from locations worldwide, including Chicago, Mumbai, Geneva, Moscow, New York, London, Stockholm and Prague, with many more to come as the lambda grid expands.

NetherLight is one of the GLIF Open Lightpath Exchanges (GOLE). GLIF is the Global Lambda Integrated Facility, an international virtual organisation that promotes the paradigm of lambda networking.
