More and more SURFconext components available as “open source”
There is growing interest in the SURFconext infrastructure, both in the Netherlands and internationally. SURFnet’s Paul van Dijk gave a presentation about this new online collaboration infrastructure at the 2011 TERENA Networking Conference (TNC2011).
This is the largest and most prestigious European research networking conference.
In the course of his presentation, he announced that the first SURFconext components are now to be made “open source”. The documentation and code for the components will be made available via www.openconext.org. Openconext.org will be constantly updated with new components, code, and documentation.
