Institutions that use the same ICT facilities have a common interest in effective security. SURFcert plays an important role here.

SURFcert, SURFnet’s Computer Emergency Response Team, investigates and coordinates in all cases of security breaches that appear to originate from institutions connected to SURFnet or when a SURFnet institution is the victim.
