CERT Teams

Within the SURFcert Constituency

SURFcert is the CERT for the Dutch national research and education network SURFnet. Since 2006 SURFcert promotes the establishment of CERTs local to SURFnet customers. A CERT is an organization's capability/team to manage information security incidents - the baseline of that means preventing incidents from happening, resolving them when they do occur and acting on lessons learnt.

A support program called CVPO is in place to help SURFnet customers in establishing/upgrading their own CERT. As part of this program, local CERTs are registered once the SURFcert criteria have been met. The CERTs registered as such are listed below. The local CERTs and related operational security experts cooperate inside SCIRT (Dutch webpage), the forum for operational security for the SURFnet target group.
